Merry Christmas (A little late)

Ok I know it has been over a month since I last posted. Life has been crazy. I know everyone's life is crazy. So forgive my negligance and lets move on.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. Our family did. Believe it or not there was not any stress on Christmas Day !! We (I) even had an enjoyable time at the inlaws. It could be because my Mother-In-Law is actually living in what was once my childhood home. Crazy I know but God's sense of humor as well. It was cool to go sit in the floor of the living room of the home I grew up in and have Christmas like I had so many times before.
On another note if you are reading this I would like to ask you to pray for my parents. They are both in their 80's (Pre-menapause baby here) and they are having to live apart right now. Dad is in a nursing home and Mom is in an assisted living facility. They have been married for 63 years and though the first many years were not always wonderful they are so much in love now it is crazy. Daddy cries for Mom when she is not there and when she is there he is fine and at peace. Please pray that God will work out His plan and tear down the plans of the enemy. Please pray for clarity of mind for my Mom and acceptance of tough decisions she needs to make. Thank you in advance for lifting my family up to the throne of God.
My kids had a great Christmas. I am so proud of my girls. My oldest who is 14 go a PG-13 movie as a gift from a cousin and she came to me quietly and said"Mom we have to take this movie back it is not something I need to watch". Praise God and Hallelujah ! My girl has the mind of Christ ! My 11 year old also got a movie from the same cousin that she knows I do not approve of and she returned it as well. I thank God for my girls that He has blessed me with. Luckily my 8 year did not have to make any hard decisions regarding returning stuff.
Anyway enough for now. Again I hope everyone had a Blessed Christmas and will have a Wonderful New Year and if you need a new beginning what better time to start than Jan. 1, 2008.

Happy New Year

Blessings,

Cecelia

I think it is great that your kids can already recognize a bad movie and walk away from it. Praise to God!
